Terms of Use
Effective date: November 1, 2025
Welcome to Hummie!
These Terms of Use are a binding agreement between you and Hummie Inc. (“Hummie,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They describe the rules that apply to your use of all Hummie products and services (collectively, “Hummie”). If you have any questions about these Terms or our services, please contact us at support@hummie.com.
By accessing or using Hummie in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use Hummie.
You represent that you are legally able to enter into a binding contract. You may not use Hummie if you are under 16 years old. If you accept these Terms on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization. In that case, “you” refers to the organization.
Hummie’s Products, Services and Users
Hummie Products:
This includes our websites, Hummie App, and all related tools.
Hummie Services:
Hummie operates a platform that connects consumers with vetted professionals in high-ticket service industries—such as tax planning, immigration, real estate, solar, insurance, and more. Available industries and regions may change over time.
Hummie Users:
Hummie serves three primary user groups:
Consumers seeking professional services
Referrers who refer their own or others’ projects
Professionals/Service Providers who deliver services
A single user may play multiple roles depending on the project.
These Terms govern your use of the platform in any role.
Scope of Services
Through the Hummie Platform, users can:
Discover and compare offers from verified professionals
Submit, manage, and track service projects
Participate in referral reward and refund programs
Hummie primarily acts as a connector between consumers and qualified third-party providers. Hummie currently holds licenses for solar and life insurance services and may directly perform some projects in those licensed fields. Hummie does not provide tax, legal, real estate, immigration, or other advisory services for which it does not hold a license.
For Consumers
Using the Platform
Consumers may request quotes, consultations, or professional introductions. By submitting a request, you agree to be contacted by Hummie or our verified partners via phone, SMS, or email.
No Guaranteed Outcomes
We connect you with vetted professionals but do not guarantee results, pricing, or acceptance (such as in immigration or education matters). Most services are delivered by independent providers.
Consumer Rewards (Self-Referral)
If you refer your own project, you are eligible for the same referral reward or refund as any other referrer. If another referrer submits your project first, that referrer—not you—receives the refund or reward.
Your Relationship With Hummie and Providers
High-ticket projects may involve multiple parties:
You (consumer)
Hummie
A consultant
A service provider
Hummie pays rewards/refunds and connects you with verified professionals.
You enter into separate agreements with the actual service providers, just as you would anywhere else.
Your responsibility is to review, select, and sign these agreements yourself.
For Referrers
Eligibility
Registration on Hummie is required and free.
Referrers may submit their own or others’ projects. Rewards/refunds are the same in both cases.
Only projects that are completed successfully qualify for rewards.
Referral Duration
Each referral remains valid for one year from submission.
Duplicate Referrals
Hummie pays only the first user who refers a project. If your project is referred to Hummie by someone else within one year, we will pay that referrer, but not you.
Referral Compensation
Compensation varies by industry, project size, and current program terms.
Below is the average refund table for reference. The exact refund amount for each project is calculated based on the formulas listed after the table.
Refunds are treated as 1099-form income in the USA, and Hummie users are responsible for any applicable taxes.
Personal or family services (How typical refunds are determined):
Tax Planning: 10% of the consulting fee paid
EB-5 Immigration: $10,000 flat
Real Estate: 0.25% of the house transaction price. For example, a two million dollar house, refund is equal to $5,000
Solar Energy: $0.175 per watt. A 10 kW solar system, refund is $1,750
Life Insurance: 25% of target premium paid to the agent
College Counseling: 7.5% of consulting fee
Commercial/business projects are evaluated case-by-case and generally offer higher rewards/refunds.
Payment Schedule
Rewards are paid after the project is completed and the provider pays Hummie —typically 2–6 weeks after the consumer pays the provider.
Compliance
Referrers must follow Hummie’s communication and marketing guidelines. Misleading claims, spam, or unauthorized marketing may result in account termination.
Ambassador Program
Successful referrers may be promoted to Hummie Ambassador, who will be paid higher referral fees. Hummie’s Ambassador Program is invitation only.
For Professionals or Service Providers
Hummie provides high-quality, vetted referral leads. No upfront fees are required—marketing fees are paid only when a deal closes.
Professional partners must sign a separate partnership agreement.
The Terms in this document apply when professionals refer projects to Hummie.
